Christmas comes early for Stampin' Up! customers!

Final Week for Bonus Days and a Card for the Guys!

Hello stampers,

Just a quick reminder that this is the last week to earn Bonus Dollars! For every $50 you spend in July, you will receive an emailed coupon code for $5 to be spent toward anything you would like in August! The Bonus dollars are good on any of the catalog, clearance (or even the holiday preview early release of Carols of Chrsitmas - shhh, it's coming next month) merchandise you purchase. Just be sure to hang onto that code when you receive it. It can only be redeemed in August!

Here is a little peek at what we made at our June Stamp Club gathering. The background brick was created by using the NEW Embossing Paste and stencil masks. It was amazingly easy, and dried in minutes! And the supplies would earn you a Bonus Days coupon, too!

This is a quick and very easy card that is perfect for the guys - always hard to find the right card for them, right?! Here's how it was made:

Embossing Paste Masculine Birthday

 

1. Start with a piece of Whisper White card stock, cut to 8-1/2x11" or 11x4-1/4" (depending on how you would like the card to open) Fold the White card stock in half and crease well

 

2. With the Crumb Cake panel flat on the table top, pick up a small, dime-sized dollop of Embossing Paste (#141979) with the Palette Knife (#142808) and gently spread it across the lower portion of the brick mask (#144103), leaving room for the greeting in the upper right corner. DON’T OVERTHINK THIS STEP – NOT TOO MUCH PRECISION IS KEY! Set the panel aside to dry and rinse off the stencil right away!

 

3. Attach the Basic Black strip to the left side of the Crumb Cake panel

 

4. Wrap the black and white striped Baker’s Twine (#134576) around the panel and knot

 

5. Ink the greeting (Special Celebrations (wood - #143882 / Clear mount - #143885) with Basic Black ink and stamp it above the bricked panel

 

6. Attach the embossed panel to the front of the folded card base

Card stock colors are completely up to you, but here are the basic supplies we used!

Product Suites - An Easy Way to Earn Bonus Dollars in July!

Happy Tuesday,

It's a roller coaster weather week here in Minnesota. I was going to mow the lawn this afternoon, but it looks like I can stay in and stamp instead (the upside of thunderstorms).

Stampin' Up!'s 2017-2018 Annual Catalog features more Product Suites than ever. Product Suites are combinations of embellishments, ribbons, paper, tools etc. that work so well together they coordinate with all sorts of stamp sets! The color pallet can pull from the Designer Series Paper in the Suite, too, so the work is done for you! Take a peek at the Suite on page 86 of the catalog to get your creative juices flowing.
